Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5 System Requirements

Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5 is a standalone application and a VST / AU / RTAS / AMXD plugin.

The following hardware is required at minimum to run Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5:

• 1 GB of hard disk space
• 4 GB RAM (recommended 8 GB)
• Processor: recommended Intel i5 or better
• Architecture: 32-bit or 64-bit
• Operating System:
  • Windows Vista - Windows 10
  • macOS 10.7.5 - macOS 10.15

The following additional software is required on your system:

• If you want to use Liquid Rhythm as a plugin, a DAW is required to host the plugin:

  • VST: Any DAW hosting VST2 or VST3
  • AU: Any DAW hosting AU (macOS only)
  • RTAS: Pro Tools 7 - 10.3.8
  • AMXD (Ableton Max For Live Device):
    • Ableton Live 9 Suite with Max For Live
      • Max 7 is required in the same architecture as Live 9 (64-bit or 32-bit). Download it here from Cycling '74.
      • Please note: If Max 7 is updated after Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5 is installed, you will need to reinstall Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5. Otherwise, the AMXD plugin will not operate properly.
    • Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5 is NOT compatible with Ableton Live 10 / 11 Suite as a Max For Live Device.
      • Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5 can be used in Live 10 / 11 as a VST or AU plugin.

• Java: JDK 1.8 64-bit is required. On macOS, Apple's legacy JRE 1.6 is also required.

  • If you are running a 32-bit DAW, you will additionally require 32-bit Java.
    • For Windows: Azul's OpenJDK 1.8 32-bit can be found here.
    • For macOS: Apple's legacy JRE 1.6 is required; it can be found here.
