I can't find the Max for Live plugin in Live's Max MIDI Effects

We place the Liquid Rhythm AMXD file here, in the the default Ableton User Library directory: 

 

macOS:

/Users/<username>/Music/Ableton/User Library/Presets/MIDI Effects/Max MIDI Effect/LiquidRhythm.amxd

Windows:

C:\Users\<username>\My Documents\Ableton\User Library\Presets\MIDI Effects\Max MIDI Effect\LiquidRhythm.amxd

Please move the .amxd file into your Ableton User Library. If you can’t find it on your system, then it may have not been installed due to permissions issues and will need to be re-installed again.

To install the plugins, start up Liquid Rhythm Standalone and under the Help Menu click on “Install Plugins on Next Launch”. For more information please see this page on the WaveDNA website.

 

You can also perform a manual install of the Max for Live plugin by copying-and-pasting from the internal install location into your Ableton User Library. See this article for more information.
