Note that Liquid Music 1.8.0 + Liquid Rhythm 1.8.0 use a bundled Azul Java JDK 1.8 for all operation modes and thus have no external Java requirements (and are also isolated from any system Java of any version). The below pertains to Liquid Music 1.7.0 + Liquid Rhythm 1.7.0, which require system Java for some modes of operation, and also require the system Java be no later than JDK 1.8.
